Tank's Bar & Grill at 2033 Wayne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio.

I'm trying to like this place based on so many recommendations to go here. I liked the older, country like feel. The waitress was quick and checked up on us quite a few times. I enjoyed the atmosphere. What I didn't like was the food. Maybe it's because we showed up right at opening. I asked for crispy, near burnt, overcooked, man I should probably toss these hash browns and when they came out they were barely cooked and tasted more like mashed potatoes. I asked for biscuits and gravy. Seemed like they freshly baked the biscuits but poured cold gravy on top to balance out the temperature before it got to me. This left my gravy still cold in places not touching the biscuits. Like... Thoroughly cold like it was never even warmed. I want to like this place. I'm giving them a four because I see potential and believe they can do better.
